10mm outdoor porcelain tiles need to be installed on a concrete bed. A 10mm porcelain tile has the same properties as a 20mm porcelain tile and can be more cost effective both in sqm price and to install however, as they are thinner, the key is good preparation and installation – a 10mm porcelain must be installed on a fully cured concrete base. Good site preparation is a must as is ensuring the tile is fully supported with adhesive.
