A beautiful Befordshire makeover
Our client was on a tight time frame and looking for a tile that could work throughout several areas of the home with a lovely warm feel and in a larger format.
A little history
Bought over 3 years ago for it's location and stunning countryside views, the property is a 1970's build housed in a conservation area.
Purchased as the family home, it was also clear the property had amazing potential. In particular the opportunity to increase the light by opening up the space and this has been a key aspect of this renovation. Opening up the space also presented the opportunity to take full advantage of the stunning views.
No room has been left untouched in the development process. The entrance hall has been opened up to create more space, a vaulted ceiling has been added along with glazed side panels to maximise that extraordinary light. The existing stairs have been replaced with an open tread oak staircase again, allowing the light to stream through and that's before we have even got to the open plan kitchen!
The owners wanted to give their home a beautiful warm, natural flow maximising a love of all things biophilic and natural design elements to bring a sense of calm and wellbeing.
In this refurbishment they have decided to go bold with a stunning navy island coupled with Carrara quartz worktops for a beautifully contemporary look.
The TIlePortfolio Swoop Beige large format floor tiles are the perfect canvas to set off the kitchen design aswell as bringing a cosy, warm feeling to the space.
